The Hydrogen Economy
Environmental Policy Roundtable, Friday, March 4, 2011, Room 1107 Van Munching Hall, 12:15 - 1:30pm
The Hydrogen Economy
This week we will discuss the plausibility of a hydrogen economy where oil is displaced by the use and distribution of hydrogen-based fuels in transportation. As a resource, we will view a PBS Scientific American Frontiers episode regarding hydrogen and take a look at a brief documentary that explores Iceland’s adaptation to a hydrogen economy. All of this culminates in our discussion of the question: Is Iceland the exception?
We look forward to seeing you at our discussion.
Best,
Your EESG Team
