"International Cooperation in Climate Monitoring via Satellites"
Mariel Borowitz, Doctoral Candidate, School of Public Policy
Mariel Borowitz is a fourth-year PhD student specializing in International Security and Economic Policy. Her research is focused on international cooperation in climate monitoring via satellite, focusing on the barriers to data-sharing.
She has a Masters degree in International Science and Technology Policy from the George Washington University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and minored in Applied International Studies. She also currently works as a policy research analyst at the Space Foundation in Washington, D.C.
The CISSM Forum is a weekly policy forum held on Thursdays, from 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm in room 1203 Van Munching Hall, College Park, Maryland. The CISSM Forum is open to the public (no RSVPs required) and is supported by the Yamamoto-Scheffelin Endowment for Policy Research.
