Description: Anya Loukianova is a program officer at the Stanley Foundation, where she focuses on nuclear security. She is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland's School of Public Policy and a graduate fellow at CISSM. Her thesis research is focused on U.S.-Russian and NATO-Russian security cooperation. Previously, Loukianova was a research associate at the Monterey Institute's James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) in Monterey, CA and Washington, D.C. She has a master of public and international affairs degree from the University of Pittsburgh (MPIA ’07) and she’s a native Russian speaker.
