Fed Event: GW Policy Forum

Join the George Washington University's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration as we present the 2013 Policy Forum: Serving Low-Income Neighborhoods.

The foreclosure crisis garnered substantial attention in recent years and remains in the headlines. But more work remains as low-income communities continue to struggle and recover from the crisis. The Forum will feature a discussion with a distinguished panel of experts offering diverse opinions on the current state of community development policy in the U.S. and potential policy developments over the next four years.

Panelists:
Maurice Jones, Deputy Secretary, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Mark Calabria, Director of Financial Regulation Studies, Cato Institute
Lisa Hall, President & CEO, Calvert Foundation
Joseph McNeely, Executive Director, Central Baltimore Partnership
The Forum will be moderated by Joseph Firschein, Deputy Associate Director and Community Affairs Officer at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and professor, Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration.

Come join the conversation. The Forum will take place on Thursday, March 7 from 5:30-7 p.m., followed by a light reception and opportunity to network with experts in the field. The Forum will be held at GW's Media and Public Affairs Building in the Jack Morton Auditorium, 805 21st Street, NW in Washington, D.C.

The Forum is free and open to the public. Advance registration is requested.
