The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) invests in clean energy technologies that strengthen the economy, protect the environment, and reduce dependence on foreign oil. Steven Chalk is the Chief Operating Officer of the Office of EERE. In this capacity, he is responsible for day-to-day operational oversight and management of the Office of the Assistant Secretary and for directing the implementation of the EERE priorities, policies, and program development and execution.
